Heidi Sparkes Guber (Fourth Quadrant Partners), Kelci Price (Colorado Health Foundation), Marisa Allen (Institute for Health Research at Kaiser Permanente) will present their work on Friday, September 23rd, from 12:00 noon -4:00PM at McREL International. Lunch will be provided.
Strategic learning is key to getting evaluation findings used in a way that improves decisions and increases impact. But good learning is hard to do. This presentation is designed to help evaluators understand how to facilitate meaningful learning conversations that produce actionable insights for stakeholders. You'll learn about a specific learning platform - Emergent Learning (EL) - and we'll teach you some simple but powerful tools you can use immediately. We will share examples of how to craft processes and practices for learning, how to align learning and evaluation, and how to integrate learning into organizational decision-making. The presenters will share stories of how they've used Emergent Learning in their own practice, including how they've used EL to: inform evaluation design, plan for evaluation efforts, debrief evaluation results, help stakeholders learn when there's no data yet, and how to integrate multiple sources of evidence as part of learning (e.g., evaluation data, experiential evidence, political realities, etc). Join us to discover insights about learning and specific tools you can use to create a powerful learning practice, no matter what type of evaluation work you do!
The cost to members will be discounted, so become a member through our website at www.coevalnet.org and be the first to find out when registration opens. Space is limited and we expect the workshop to fill quickly.
