First in a series on evaluation in the content areas

Facilitator: Andrea Beesley, 2017 COEN president

Please join us on Thursday, January 26 for our first COEN Community of Practice meeting. These meetings will be informal, like the socials we used to have, but with a specific topic, facilitator, and practice-building purpose to guide discussion. They are intended to let you share with and learn from your colleagues and grow in the profession.

• From 5:30 to 6:00 we will gather, introduce ourselves, and get coffee or dinner at the counter if you wish.
• At 6:00 we'll start our informal discussion: Evaluation in education - big questions, hot topics, common challenges, funders/clients, and careers

Please bring your questions and insights to share from your own evaluation experience (in education or in other areas). Also bring a colleague!

Upcoming months will feature additional entries in our "evaluation in the content areas" series and other topics discussed at our December 7 annual meeting, including culturally responsive evaluation, book/article discussions, evaluation standards, and ethical dilemmas. We will publish a schedule for the year as soon as it is complete.
