June COEN Community of Practice Meeting

Topic: The Art of Facilitation

Facilitator: Becky Kelleman, University of Denver

From 5:30 to 6:00 we will gather, introduce ourselves, and get coffee or dinner at the counter if you wish.

At 6:00 we'll start our informal discussion: The Art of Facilitation. Have you ever had a consultation scheduled for an hour, but it lasted two? Have you ever finished a focus group and realized the group did not answer all the questions? Have you ever negotiated a contract, and ended up having something in it that you did not intend? If you answered “Yes” to any of these questions, please join us for the upcoming community of practice meeting where we will discuss the art of facilitation.

Please bring your questions and insights to share from your own evaluation experience. Also bring a colleague!

Upcoming months will feature diversity and multicultural issues on July 27, culturally relevant evaluation on August 23, health program evaluation on October 25, and evaluation capacity building on November 29. September is still open.
