Evaluation to the Rescue!

How evaluation can contribute to raising funds, inspire organizational learning, and improve communication

Are you a consultant and/or an evaluator who wishes you could help your social sector clients even more? Are you in a leadership role for a funder, nonprofit, school, or library and want to find a way to get everyone in your organization on the same page when telling your organization’s story?

Learn how evaluation and evaluative thinking can be used to develop a compelling case for support which will uplevel your team and inspire everyone you work with. In this session you will learn how reimagining a case for support can
increase clarity about your organization’s impact and improve your communications so that you get more funding and support of all types.  You will learn everything you need to create a Case for Support that will result in everyone feeling more confident when answering questions about the difference your organization makes and telling your story.

We will cover the three stages of creating and leveraging a powerful Case For Support:

  • Phase 1: Collect the gems that tell the story of your organization’s impact;
  • Phase 2: Create a Treasure Chest with all the information you need to answer any question and showcase your organizations work; and
  • Phase 3: Craft powerful and compelling communications that tell your story effectively and magnetize support of all kinds.
